TIE Bomber Study

TIE Bomber Study. Faster and more maneuverable than the rebellion Y-Wing, the bomber was a formable strike craft that could not be dismissed or underestimated.
A forward helical magazine carried 55 proton munitions that fed into a short chamber accelerator coil located on the bottom of the weapons hull. (Sorry, but I had to get rid of that box on a stick thing underneath it)
Two rotary launchers behind it held 18 pressurized missile canisters. These canisters were the secret behind the bomber's insane launch rate. Pressurized to two times atmospheric pressure, all the launcher needed to do was break the end cap and explosive decompression launched the missile as fast as a normal booster. It also allowed the bomber to silently launch a spread of missiles toward a target and ignite the thrusters at the last minute when it was too late to react.

This one took a while, but the more I worked on it, the more I loved the design. I'm working on a cockpit and a way to actually get the pilot onboard. But wanted to post this up now.
