Some fun paint schemes for a TIE Racing League. As the decommissioned ships and hardware began to accumulate on numerous salvage worlds, several organizations announced the formation of a new racing league to distract a war-weary population. Decommissioned TIE Fighters, with the weapon systems removed and powerplant and engine output limiters disabled, were brought back to operational status and turned into racers. Rally, Obstacle, and open course tracks could be created anywhere and soon there were numerous sector leagues that competed to send their top pilots to the Galactic Grand League.
