Tie Advanced X1 Study

Tie Advanced X1 Study. Darth Vader's fighter built with the same thinking and detail that I put into the Tie Fighter study. The filming model was built using parts from the Tie Fighter and I wanted to capture that idea as much as possible. Again from the sketchbook, Vader's personal ship represents next year's model; faster, hyperdrive capable, but unfortunately never given any chance to show off what it could do. Shame, as I liked the design from the beginning.

Inboard wing root detail. I changed the detail in the open equipment bay giving, I hpoe, a more purposeful and unified functional look to it.
